I am fairly slender, but was blessed with a fairly, um, large chest. I do NOT want to get any kind of plastic surgery. What exercises are good for losing some fat up top? Does lifting weights do anything? thx.

If anything developing your chest muscles by lifting weights would accentuate your chest. There is no way to reduce breast size without surgery and if you are not overweight your only choice is a minimizer bra.
