@xaviermockingbird dang limited msg, just to add to my other reply. I’ve had personal exp w/ my friend. He used to weigh over 250lbs. He did running every day for an hr and eating more healthy for 3 mths. In that time he had dropped no more than 10lbs. We suggested he switch to speed walking monitoring your heart rate, within a month he dropped 45lbs.
I also mentioned working major muscle groups, this is important as it forces major muscle groups to consume energy as it rebuilds
@xaviermockingbird Hey, sorry I forgot to reply lol. I don’t mean regular walking in any way. I mean speed walking. If you’ve ever noticed on a treadmill, there are two things that happen when you are running and its checking your heart rate. If you are outright running your heart rate becomes very high and yes it seems like you are burning a lot of calories but in essence what you are doing is not cardio if your heart rate is high. Speed walking gives you high heart rate but not too high.

@Jaaks84 Your wrong about a few things , your body burns fat from its entire fat storage at once , while you will notice it disappearing from certain areas at first , the exercise you do does not have an effect on where fat is burned from . Jogging is much better for losing weight than walking in any way because it burns more calories and increases your metabolism alot more . basically the more oxygen you consume during a workout , the more calories you burn , nothing else really matters .
@lordyzzz I hope that was not a serious question , if so , ya it will do a better job than these circuits as long as you can keep it up .

I think its not really as easy as they say to to spot fat reduction. It’s more that you’ll lose fat in certain areas quicker than in others. Squats and pushups and I guess Jumping jacks use most of your core muscles which helps burn the most fat, doing other things like weight lifting wouldn’t do anything because you aren’t working core muscle groups. At least this is my basic understanding. Speed/power walking is the best way to lose weight I think, not jogging…
